My Holistic Journey

My journey into holistic wellness began with my own health challenges. Despite my background as a personal trainer and medical aesthetician, I felt something missing in my clients’ long-term success—proper nutrition and gut health

The Lightbulb Moment

In 2019, I was feeling hopeless. I had a range of mysterious symptoms—acne, rashes, flaky dry skin around my eyes, rapid weight gain (despite eating healthy and exercising), chronic fatigue, bumps in my armpit, and increasing food sensitivities. I felt constantly puffy, and the simplest tasks left me exhausted. It was frustrating because no matter how many specialists I saw or how much I spent on treatments, nothing provided lasting relief.

I knew something wasn't right, but no one seemed to have the answers. I felt like my body was working against me, and I was trapped in a cycle of disappointment and frustration. My health was deteriorating, and I couldn't understand why.

Then came the lightbulb moment. After yet another visit to a doctor, I was finally diagnosed with Hashimoto's. I had no idea what that meant, but I felt relief. The symptoms, the fatigue, the weight gain—it all started to make sense. Knowing what I was up against, I decided to take matters into my own hands.

I enrolled in a holistic nutrition program, and through additional education and mentorship in European Biological Medicine and Functional Testing, I discovered the critical missing piece: gut health. By focusing on healing my leaky gut, I experienced a transformation. My skin cleared up, my energy returned, inflammation dropped, and I felt more confident my body.

No one-size-fits-all approach here! I firmly believe in personalized protocols tailored to your unique needs. As we evolve, so do our health needs, and what worked at one stage of life may be ineffective in another. That’s why I offer customized recommendations in nutrition, lifestyle, mindset, and supplements.

Lessons Learned

My journey taught me a valuable lesson: less is more. As I gained weight at a fast pace from Hashimoto’s, I found myself falling for old habits, adopting an all-or-nothing mindset. I instinctively wanted to exercise more and restrict my calories, a strategy that worked for me in my early 20’s.

But, this time around, it only led to further weight gain and frustration. It was a wake-up call. I realized that my body was sending me a clear message. Instead of taking extreme measures, I learned to listen to my body. I discovered the power of exercising and nourishing my body in a way that was supportive and aligned with my body’s natural hormone fluctuations.

Driven by my personal experiences, I specialize in gut health, hormone balance, and Hashimoto’s. While my focus isn’t solely on weight loss, many clients experience fat loss as a natural by-product of healing their gut, reducing inflammation, and finding what truly works for their bodies.
